The Quotable Chesterton by Kevin Belmonte

G.K. Chesterton is a notable literary figure who's books, poems, and articles have been quoted by many up to this day! English majors know him! Journalists know him! Even C.S. Lewis knew him! His common sense ideas and intellect have touched the lives of many. This book is a English person's dream!

Containing about 870 quotations, the reader can find a quote from Chesterton on many subjects ranging from Agnosticism to Christianity, from Charles Darwin to Jane Austen, and from weather to politics. Readers will enjoy that the quotes are alphabetized by topic with bold letters at the top. Each topic contains anywhere from one to seven quotes concerning that topic. Some of the other topics mentioned in this book are: education, apologetics, calling things by their real names, debate, ugliness and beauty, man, insanity, humour, the family, and much more. In the back of the book are notes containing where each of his quotes came from for the reader's added benefit.

As a big quote person, I enjoy having books full of quotes, especially from big named literary figures! Chesterton was a wise man and his wisdom should be shared with the world! Moreover, I think readers will enjoy owning this book and carrying on his legend!

*** I received this book for free from Thomas Nelson's blogger review program!
